Hiking through the mountains, or simply walking through nature or urban environments, can be an exhilarating experience.Pedestrianism so old that many have almost forgotten it, the art of walking is back in fashion.
Hiking, mountain walking or, more recently, Nordic walking, the possibilities are diverse and certainly stimulating.
Hiking or walking (as it is sometimes called) can be defined as the sport of walking, usually in nature and on traditional paths, but also in urban areas.
In fact, hiking is a multifaceted activity linked to the areas of sport, tourism and the environment.
The practice of hiking can be done on pedestrian routes not marked on the ground or on marked itineraries: Great Routes (GR®), Small Routes (PR®) or Local Routes.
Hiking is, therefore, the activity sport, tourist and environmental that consists of walking routes along paths and trails, preferably traditional or historic, in nature or in an urban environment.
Unlike other outdoor activities, hiking does not involve major technical difficulties. It is, in general, an activity that is both relaxing and enjoyable.
Hence it can be practiced “from 8 to 80” years old, in family or among friends.
- Pedestrians must be 18 years of age or older.
- Possess a Citizen Card (or valid passport).
- Pedestrians under the age of 18, if possible, must be accompanied by their parents or their legal representatives.
- The Client must take the maximum possible care with the rented equipment.
- In case of damage, loss or theft, you may be charged for repairs and necessary components.
- In case of damage or defects, they must inform Paraíso Radical Lda, upon delivery.
- The contracted schedules must be complied with, delays may be charged.
- Paraíso Radical guarantees the necessary accessories to guarantee the safety of the driver.
- Reservations are advised to ensure equipment availability.
